Plain English, because the important part is a limitation you should actually read.

The service

We provide free tools that crop, resize, compress and check photos for passport and visa applications. The photo processing runs in your browser on your own device. You may use the resulting photos for any lawful purpose, including commercial use. We claim no rights over your images.

No guarantee of acceptance

We cannot promise that any authority will accept your photo. Our checks cover what software can measure — head size, eye position, tilt, whether your eyes are open, lighting, resolution and background. They cannot judge everything a human reviewer will, and requirements change. The decision always belongs to the office reviewing your application. Treat our results as a well-informed check, not a warranty. Any site that guarantees acceptance is selling you a refund policy, not a certainty.

Accuracy of information

We publish photo specifications and retailer prices with the date we last verified them and a link to the source. We work hard to keep these correct, but rules and prices change without notice. Always check the official requirements for your own document before submitting. If you find an error, pleasetell us.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for rejected applications, delays, fees, missed travel, or other losses arising from use of this site. Since the tools are free and your photo never reaches us, our practical involvement in your application ends when you download the file.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to produce photographs for fraudulent identity documents, or to impersonate another person. Do not attempt to overwhelm the service; the API endpoints are rate limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
